There comes a time in every manga/comic/anime series where the protagonist has to come back from something big. Maybe they’ve hit a wall, literally or figuratively. They could’ve been blindsided by something big. Either way, the protagonist is at a low point and they’ve gotta pick themselves up and get back into the mix swinging.

SSB’s been at this shit for 11 years now. 2 zines, a few comics here and there, and the majority of us have to renew our Pro status with Comic Con again. There’s no better time to start this arc than now. I may have gotten too complacent with the whole pro-thing but now I’ve gotta go back to the basics and fight.

I almost feel like Rocky in Part 3 when he had everything going good, and then Mickey croaked. Well, hopefully we can get through the rest of the year without anyone else croaking.

So to start off our redemption arc, I’m gonna be working on the website and a few new illustrations and comics. We’re also going to be doing the HD re-release of our first zine. The final copy of the original beta-run of Volume 1 is gonna be going to someone special.

The Twitch Channel and Youtube content is gonna be unchanged mostly. I’ll be starting the Friday Streams a little early now that I’ve got a new position at work and am available to leave considerably earlier now.
